About Me

Kerry, originally from Ontario, Canada, found her way to Nicaragua while backpacking through Central America. The moment she arrived in San Juan del Sur, she was captivated by the culture and lifestyle of the area.

Equipped with a diploma in Child and Youth Work and certification in Teaching English as a second language, Kerry decided to start her teaching career in San Juan del Sur. Starting with volunteer positions and teaching in schools, she slowly put down roots in the community. Her passion for yoga also led her to engage more deeply with the community by teaching yoga classes.

Having a background in the restaurant industry and a fervor for culinary arts, Kerry welcomed a fresh opportunity in 2014 by diving into entrepreneurship. She took the bold step of opening her first restaurant in San Juan del Sur, named Dale Pues. Over the years, Kerry has honed her business skills and expanded her establishment, which now includes a restaurant, bakery, and clothing store.

Alongside her business growth, Kerry found love and partnership with her husband Noam. Together, they’ve built a beautiful family of two children. When she’s not working, Kerry can be found enjoying quality time with her family at the beach.
