About Me

Hi, I’m Marc Krop, and Nicaragua has been my home since 2004. After a carreer at Coca-Cola and O’Neill, my wife, Marielle, and I traded the Netherlands for a life of adventure and sunshine. Together, we built and managed a successful eco-lodge at Playa Maderas for 12 years, hosting travelers from around the world while raising our two sons, Jack and Cooper.  

After selling the lodge to focus on family and new opportunities, I channeled my passion for real estate into a full-time career, bringing over a decade of experience in property transactions, construction, design and rentals. Whether you’re buying, selling, or investing, my deep understanding of Nicaragua’s real estate market ensures you’re in expert hands.  

When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the surf with my family, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying a bonfire with friends. We’re avid travelers who love watersports, snow adventures, and discovering new places to call home—even if just for a little while.
