We are blessed to live in a country where the surf is always good and constant. Nicaragua is one of the top 10 places to practice this sport, which is not just a sport, but also a lifestyle.
I have been practicing surfing for more than 10 years, and it changed my life. I am fascinated by the interaction with nature, the teachings that it has given me regarding patience and acceptance, and it is also a tremendous exercise.
Since my arrival to San Juan del Sur, I have gotten to known Juan Carlos Sandino, owner of Rebelde Surf School. Juan Carlos is an excellent surfer and teacher, and I know he is an excellent teacher because he is helping me fulfill my dream of having my family surf with me. My wife is already progressing a lot in her ability, and soon it will be the little ones turn.
