One of the things I love is meeting foreigners who fall in love with San Juan del Sur and Nicaragua–especially those who make the decision to make this paradise their home.
It is something even more special to see them invest in ventures and projects in our country that contribute to the local economy, help create jobs for Nicaraguans and help our economy get ahead
Rebecca and Cameron from “The Space,” a hostel recently set up just 10 minutes from San Juan del Sur, are one of these couples. They are South Africans who came to Nicaragua five years ago, fell in love with the area, and made it their home.
